Intrinsik Environmental Sciences Inc. is a recognized leader in the fields of human health risk assessment, ecological risk assessment and toxicology. Areas of expertise include multi-media exposure modeling, probabilistic risk analysis, landscape scale risk assessment, toxicity evaluations and development of toxicological benchmarks.
From offices across Canada in Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto, Guelph, and Calgary, Intrinsik has successfully addressed the chemical contaminant risk management needs of Canadian and global clients.
Position
Reporting to the EVP, the incumbent will be an intermediate to senior level toxicologist/risk assessor (both human health and ecological), with a mandate to take on a leadership role with particular focus on Contaminated Sites and the application of O. Reg. 153/04.
Qualifications
- Masters of Science (M.Sc.)/Ph.D. or equivalent experience in biological sciences or chemistry, with some basis in toxicology,
- Approximately five years of experience completing risks assessments in Ontario and 1-3 years of expertise executing Ontario Regulation153/04 and/or the Guideline for Use at Contaminated Sites in Ontario
- Diversity in base knowledge (statistics, biology, ecology, soil science)
